Suffolk County Council are making some road improvements to re-align the B1083/ Hollesley (Heath Road) junction near 
Sutton Hoo, starting on 5th February 2012 and the work is expected to last for about 5 weeks.  Sections of the road will be 
closed between 27th February and 9th March for two nights or one day, depending upon the temperature at the time.  
Diversion signs will be in place. 

The majority of the work will be carried out under temporary 3-way traffic lights, and we have been assured that delays will be 
kept to a minimum.  There will also be speed restrictions in place during this time.  Advance signs warning motorists of the 
works will go up shortly and the signs will be revised during the next month giving road closure dates.
